Here are some of the fun projects I’ve worked on, including making jewelry, baking, seasonal decorations and other crafty things..
The vases in these pictures were thrown on the wheel by my husband John. They were all decorated by me..
I recently got an airbrush, yay! I’ve been wanting one for a while. After much research, hemming and hawing I decided on the Iwata Revolution.
It is a gravity fed, airbrush with a dual-action trigger. I don’t have a compressor yet, so I’m using cans of compressed air for now. I can tell I have a lot to learn about airbrushes, my first few attempts were a mess. Now however I’m beginning to get a better feel for the proper amount of pressure, how to adjust it on the trigger and on the can of air.
I have painted my first piece with my airbrush, so, here are some pics!
I sculpted this pleasant fellow late in 2011, here are some pics of him in progress.
I used me new airbrush skills to paint and shade his skin, his teeth, eyes & horns were done with a regular old brush. I think airbrushes and I are going to have a long and happy relationship!
