My adorable little kitty apparently has gotten tired of me working on the computer. She plopped right down on my Waccom tablet halting all work.
Let the petting commence. If I try to move her she actually caterwauls. I guess it’s time for a break…

Here are some of the paintings I’ve made over the last few years. I really enjoy giving my paintings a Sci Fi slant.
Ok, so King Tut isn’t too Sci Fi but I was trying to see if I could mimic the look of gold. A couple of the paintings are inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s style, the one with the cat and the woman is a total rip off of a painting by Michael Leu. I could never afford a Michael Leu painting (Over $5,000 for an original) so I made one for myself.
All of these grace the walls of my home, I’ve never sold a piece. However if someone were to throw money at me I could be persuaded to sell one!

I found a lizard in my office today. I had seen this little fellow a few days ago but he was too quick for me.
Today I was ready, when he climbed up on my window sill I grabbed a plastic container and managed to get him inside. Mr. Lizard and I took a trip outside and although a little skinny he looked like he was going to be fine. He is once again living out in nature where he belongs.
I’m just glad I found him before the cats did. Sorry kitties, no lizard treat for you!

I got a new cool toy for Christmas from my dad, well technically it’s for both my hubby and me but it’s mine.
It’s an H2 sound recorder. It has 2 high quality mics and it can record in 2 channels or 4. I can hook It directly into my laptop and use it as an external mic or it can record directly to an SD card.
I used the H2 to record some music on Christmas when we had some family over and we jammed for a bit. I record directly into a program called Audcity. The program let’s you edit and export music in multiple formats. I’m pretty excited about getting to hear our progress as we continue to practice.
